I have been a client at Family Vision Center for many years. Dr. Sills was an outstanding optometrist and I appreciated his thoroughness. Since he left, I have been seen by Dr. Strickland and am very impressed by the way he uses pictures to help me to understand the various aspects of my examination that are important. Seeing a picture of how something should look and allowing me to compare it with a picture of how that part of my eye looks, is an excellent approach. Old saying - "a picture is worth a thousand words."
My spouse has been seen by Dr. Lax for years and is very pleased with his approach and professionalism.
The office staff is efficient and courteous. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of one staff member who really impressed me. I dropped by without an appointment to have an adjustment to my glasses; gave her my last name and she responded with my first name without looking it up.
The technicians who advise about eyeglass choices are professional and courteous and extremely well-versed in their field. Pleasant too.
Ms. Maldonado (Chris?) was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job of getting the proper part to repair my eyeglasses.
All in all - highly recommended
