Dr. Strickland took over Family Vision Center seven years ago and has been practicing for fourteen years. Our patients and staff love the energy he brings on a daily basis. He enjoys his job and it shows! He loves seeing patients of all ages and takes great pride in delivering the best eye care in Ventura County. Dr. Miran Kim
Dr. Miran J. Kim joined Family Vision Center in 2021 after leaving her private practice of many years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Berkeley and her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. After graduating, she started her own private practice in Los Angeles. While she was managing her practice, she also worked with the highly reputable ophthalmologists of the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA where she further gained knowledge and skills working with patients in the specialized area of strabismus. Dr. Rene Stevens
Dr. Stevens graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. He went on to achieve his doctorate degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. Previously working part time at Family Vision Center, his patients are happy to hear that we now have the honor of having him here on a more full time basis.
