Dr. Strickland took over Family Vision Center seven years ago and has been practicing for fourteen years. Our patients and staff love the energy he brings on a daily basis. He enjoys his job and it shows! He loves seeing patients of all ages and takes great pride in delivering the best eye care in Ventura County. Being certified in medical optometry, he treats glaucoma, co-manages patients with macular degeneration, treats ocular emergencies, and helps his patients see clearly with glasses and contacts. He's really a fun guy, but he takes your vision very seriously. Being born in New Jersey, Dr. Strickland attended optometry school in Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He then lived by the Jersey beach for fours years while practicing full scope optometry. Then he moved to Palm Springs where he practiced for three years, but he missed the beach and the green trees that the desert lacks.
