Dr. Miran J. Kim joined Family Vision Center in 2021 after leaving her private practice of many years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Berkeley and her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. After graduating, she started her own private practice in Los Angeles. While she was managing her practice, she also worked with the highly reputable ophthalmologists of the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA where she further gained knowledge and skills working with patients in the specialized area of strabismus. In 2003, she moved to Thousand Oaks where she opened her second office and served the community there for 12 years. She is very passionate about helping people see better. She is very excited to join the staff and doctors at the Family Vision Center of Ventura County.
